History

 

Ed and Lana Wrightsman , Innkeepers, purchased Green Valley Lodge in March, 1999.  Since that time they have done many improvements including development of several Hot Tub Suite rooms.   Continuing their friendly, personalized service, Green Valley Lodge appeals to outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy Brown County nature as well as those seeking arts, shopping and entertainment experience in The Village of Nashville, Brown County, Indiana.


For many years Green Valley Lodge was neighbor to The Little Nashville Opry that perished by fire on September 19, 2009.  The Lodge has been home to many Country Music Fans and Entertainers over the years.


The Lodge is located one mile West of Nashville and one mile from the west gate of Brown County State Park.  Bloomington’s IU campus is only 16 miles to the west, and 16 miles to the east, you can visit Columbus.
